Step 1: Create a PalPigeon Account
To get started, you need an active PalPigeon account that supports SMS messaging. Contact PalPigeon or your COD King representative to obtain the provider’s official account registration instructions. You may need to provide contact information, business details, and other information requested by the provider. For information about COD King’s supported local SMS operators, see the COD King Local SMS Gateway page.Note: Confirm the account registration requirements and activation process directly with PalPigeon before proceeding.
Step 2: Obtain Your Login Credentials
After your PalPigeon account has been activated, obtain the credentials required for the COD King integration. You will need:- Username
- Password
Step 3: Obtain Your Sender ID
A Sender ID is the name or identifier displayed as the sender of an SMS message. Contact PalPigeon to obtain or register a Sender ID for your account. Before continuing, confirm that:- Your Sender ID is approved for SMS sending.
- It is supported for your destination country.
- You know the exact Sender ID value to enter in COD King.
Note: Confirm any Sender ID registration requirements and restrictions with the provider.
Step 4: Configure PalPigeon in COD King
In your Shopify admin, open: Apps → COD King → Settings → Local SMS Gateway Select PalPigeon (Turkey) from the Network Provider dropdown. Enter the following details:Username
Enter the username provided by PalPigeon for your SMS integration.Password
Enter the password provided by PalPigeon.Sender ID
Enter the Sender ID registered or approved for your account. Check that all three values are correct, then save the operator configuration.Step 5: Test Your Integration
After saving your PalPigeon configuration, go to the Test Your Integration section. Enter a valid recipient phone number in the Phone Number field, including the country code. For example, a Turkish mobile number may be entered in international format:+905XXXXXXXXX
Click Send Test SMS to send a test message.
Check the recipient’s phone to confirm whether the message was delivered successfully.
If the test message is delivered successfully, your PalPigeon integration is configured correctly and ready to use.
Testing Tips
- Save the operator configuration before testing.
- Verify the Username and Password with PalPigeon if authentication fails.
- Use the Sender ID approved for your account.
- Enter a valid recipient phone number with the country code.
- Confirm that your PalPigeon account is active and has sufficient SMS credits.
- If the test fails, contact PalPigeon to check the account status and delivery restrictions.
