# Connect iSmart SMS to COD King

> Learn how to connect iSmart SMS with COD King for sending SMS notifications to customers in Oman.

iSmart SMS is an SMS messaging service in Oman that provides SMS APIs for integrating messaging with applications and websites.

This guide explains how to create an iSmart SMS account, obtain the required API credentials and Sender ID, configure iSmart SMS in COD King, and test the integration.

## Step 1: Create an iSmart SMS Account

Go to the official [iSmart SMS website](https://ismartsms.net/).

Select **Register** and complete the registration form with your required account and organization details.

The registration process requires information such as:

* Sender ID
* User ID
* Password
* Name
* Mobile Number
* Email
* Organization details

Make sure you provide valid information during registration.

> **Note:** iSmart SMS may require additional business information and documents during the account setup process.

## Step 2: Get Your API Credentials

After your iSmart SMS account has been created and activated, log in to the **iBulk SMS** portal.

Open the [iBulk SMS Login page](https://www.ismartsms.net/ibulksms/loginmain.aspx).

According to the official iSmart SMS developer documentation, API credentials can be accessed from the iBulk SMS interface under:

**Admin → Manage Users**

Use the API credentials provided by iSmart SMS for the COD King integration.

> **Security:** Do not share your API credentials publicly.

## Step 3: Configure Your Sender ID

The **Sender ID** is the name that appears as the sender of the SMS on the recipient's phone.

iSmart SMS supports an alphanumeric Sender ID of up to **11 characters** using English characters.

Make sure your Sender ID is registered and approved by iSmart SMS before using it with COD King.

## Step 4: Configure iSmart SMS in COD King

In your Shopify admin, open:

**Apps → COD King → Local SMS Operators**

Select **iSmart (Oman)** from the **Network Provider** dropdown.

Enter the required details:

### API Key

Enter the API key provided for your iSmart SMS integration.

### Sender ID

Enter the Sender ID registered with iSmart SMS.

Make sure the Sender ID matches the value approved for your iSmart SMS account.

Save the operator configuration before testing the integration.

## Step 5: Test Your Integration

After saving the iSmart SMS configuration, go to the **Test Your Integration** section.

Enter a valid phone number with the country code in the **Phone Number** field.

For example:

`+968XXXXXXXX`

Click **Send Test SMS** to send a test message.

Check the recipient's phone to confirm that the SMS was delivered successfully.

If the test SMS is delivered successfully, your iSmart SMS integration is configured correctly and ready to use.

### Testing Tips

* Make sure your iSmart SMS configuration is saved before testing.
* Use a valid phone number with the country code.
* Make sure the Sender ID matches your registered Sender ID.
* Check that your iSmart SMS account has sufficient SMS credit.
* Verify your API credentials if the test message fails.
